Let's face it; many people like me before, we hate Zoom calls... We try to think about how we look, how is my webcam and mic, what I'm going to tell and how; what is even my point of doing this? After I started a few weeks ago using more Zoom calls for business meetings and also about my own coaching to my FINNSKILL team members, I felt a little bit uncomfortable: not just because I'm not sure how to benefit from it, but also because I now have customers from all over the globe and everyone is living in different time zones. Even before I was a professional juggler; to think of 10 different time zones in Australia, UK, Finland and the U.S. at same time, I started to get stressed and symptoms of burnout until I found a solution for both of these challenges. 1. Because I was new in Zoom, I started to have relaxed Zooms without no any purpose with some of my friends; I played with settings, learned to share my screen and all about settings and that boring stuff. = I get more relaxed and natural. 2. I started to use a free Calendy booking system and added a link to my FB Bio, where everyone can see their own time zone automatically! What a burnout saver and it fixed my biggest pain point so far: during last Friday I had 6 dirrerent 45 min Zoom calls to all over the globe and not even once we did not have to mention our time zones! And also then I learn I big lesson: It also saves everyone's time because we are VISUAL learners! If I try to explain something by writing, voice message or by phone call, it can take many weeks or months that we are on the same page. But when I share my screen during a Zoom call, it's on average about 5 seconds and everyone understands what I'm talking about and also the opposite... When some of my mentors are showing anything, they do not have to explain anything; they show. What a time saver for everyone! During my first few weeks in Zoom calls I also had some ways to make it more comfortable for everyone... I stop everything that I'm doing 15 minutes before any Zoom call (after I made a few mistakes) and focus just on that meeting: What is our topic and what do I want to ask or show? I write some plan on paper: what I want to show or ask? Also I reboot my Laptop and check Internet connection, lighting and mic before anything: it seems that God's of Tech are sometimes against me and to avoid that is just quickly test drive all before any call. Then during Zoom, 40 minutes goes pretty fast: that's why some plan helps a lot. Right now I'm offering some private coaching to my team and also a 40 minute free Zoom call about
